I think that would be useful, especially if it can be reproduced ... you
might then also refer to this report as well as your reproduced logs.

Generally ...

- .sugar/default/logs ... look for interesting output from any of the
  processes,

- dmesg ... look for curious output,

Specifically, this backtrace suggests that at the time gdb attached to
the process and halted execution, the process was deep in abiword
handling a key event, breaking a paragraph.

I'd wonder if a key was jammed down.

A few more backtrace captures, interleaved with execution (continue,
Ctrl/C, bt), may have gathered different results.  In other words, we
can't be totally sure that the problem is in breaking a paragraph unless
we get many backtraces that confirm it; or that a reasonable number of
backtraces show no significant change to the stack.
