Hmm.

- there are no torrents for these files at the moment,

- the people publishing the images are publishing only a server URL, not
  a torrent,

- the number of seeders of such a torrent might be so small as to render
  the idea unlikely to work well,

- if the desire is for greater download performance, perhaps we should
  figure out how to provide a mirror site closer to you, or encourage
  multiple threaded downloads,

- you're welcome to seed torrents of these files if you like.  ;-)

There's a menu drawing patch in this build that removes the delays.
Drawing smaller icons also makes things a little faster.  ;-}

Yes, that's a known problem on the Wiki for this build.
