Hi Volunteers

Some of you already know that we have been loaning two XOs to a group of
students from University of Auckland for a project they are doing. They have
recently been on National radio and I thought you might like to hear it.

Quote: "*At 1:35pm we're chatting to some local inventors who've come up
with a neat way to distribute information wirelessly using existing FM and
AM radio networks. With over a million One Laptop Per Child machines out
there it could be a cheap, quick and easy way to distribute text and images
without using the internet.*"

Vinny and his team will be giving us a write up to share with the rest of
the olpc volunteers around the world about their project.

Vinny and his team are new to volunteering for olpc and will appreciate any
guidance you give them on this mailing list. Thanks in advance for
supporting these new volunteers.

Thanks Vinny and team for joining the NZ olpc volunteers. We look forward to
your next update (and perhaps a photo or two with a story about the recent
award you received).
