I used the Fedora Live USB creator under windows as I couldn't hack the linux
script to work under openSuSE... 

We both had multiport USB hubs so Alistair did 10 at a time (7 port hub and 3
ports on the laptop) and I could do 8 with 2 four port hubs...

The 1Gb sticks SUN donated take about 4 minutes each... some 2Gb sticks I had
take around 8 minutes each including the persistent drive space.
