Hi all,

Here's the results of testing for the Wellington Testing group from last
weekend. Things were slightly complicated by rain, a lack of Internet
access, and a minor medical issue.

People here; Edward, Alastair, Martyn, Grant, Gustav, Becky, Flinn

When a program fails to start, it doesn't generate any log files. This
is makes debugging quite difficult.

Upon starting the physics activity, 4 icons appeared for it at the top
of the frame. Trying to close these resulted in one closing, the other 3
icons persisted and would not close or resume. --- Turned out to be user
error, multiple clicks of starting activity. Two semi-fixes 1) is to
replicate gnomes 'no bounce' (some name like that) feature to stop
multiple versions of an activity starting 2) Once several icons appear
on the top frame it would be good to be able to close all of them etc.

School Play, Version 1. Fonts at top of screen are too big, and the
numbers typed into the middle box are way too big.

Pippy, version 30
Pippy does not handle screen rotation very well. 180 degree rotation
works fine but there is a lot of distortion when trying to do 90 degree
rotation. B/W mode works well although it makes syntax highlighting a
little less obvious. Other than that works well.

Tried to install VLC from RPM Fusion, could not get XO to talk to the
fusion repositories. So we didn't try that.

Let's try again this Saturday! Martyn has plans for Sugar on a stick
(Candyfloss?) so bring a big USB key (1 or 2gb plus) if you have them
spare.

Caio for now,
Edward
