taking my leap of faith of establishing myself in the industry in 2006, I
used to assist photographers such as Mark Seliger, Annie Liebovitz, Mary
Ellen Mark, Brigitte Lancombe, Michael Muller & dozens of other less-famous,
but just as busy photographers.

I feel that it is imperative to "advertise" my work & my past experiences to
entities such as OLPC - mainly because of your mission statement and the
people its impacting - the children - and cannot afford to have it
misrepresented.

Anyhow, since I've begun shooting on my own, I'm glad to mention that the
equity in my name/work has been building up. I shoot for various
organizations/magazines, etc. & my personal work ( Mexican body of work )
has been acquired by 4 museums across the states into their permanent
collections.

Since becoming a father recently ( 3 kids ) and watching my eldest son,
Diego who is 5 years old, on how he interacts with the technology around the
apt ( my iPhone & laptop ) & at school. Amazes me every time on how the
children of today and tomorrow will be native to such technology. It's
almost as if it comes natural to them.

Again, I would love to launch those big campaigns you all must have bouncing
around your heads. I would love to sit down with you all and discuss the
ideas I have sketched up for your mission.

Take care and God bless everyone for what you have done so far...
