[OLPC-NYC] OLPC Nicaragua Pilot Presentation - Sunday Feb 21 - 4PM EST

Tiffany & Steve of the Digital Literacy Project (www.DigiLiteracy.org)
will be presenting DigiLit's recent [January 2010] XO deployment in
Managua, Nicaragua.  Independently from OLPC's larger efforts in the
region, seven members of the Harvard team set up a computer lab at
the Nicaraguan Deaf Association, adding deaf students to the One
Laptop per Child equation.  The team will talk about plans for
translating XO laptop tutorials into sign language, as well as
curriculum development.  Please join us to consider how the XO
can accommodate different styles of learning!
