Hello

I agree enterly on this idea. But I think that the permanant/periodic (during the first year) knowledge transfer for these teachers in this primary level is very suitable .

See you

Sylvain

Hi Samy,

For Ambatoharanana, we are planning on working with teachers before we work with the students. We will have several days training after school, as well as some work after schools lets out in July. We think teachers are absolutely vital to the success of OLPC, and especially to our project; if the teachers aren't comfortable, the XOs won't be used in the classroom.

We are still working on a plan for teacher training, but our main focus will be their ideas and their needs. We want an organic integration of the computers into the school day.
--

Merci,
Kate

Hi,

Sylvain Rajoana, from the faculty of science of Antsirana, pointed out the
formation of the teachers in the perspective of the planned deployments of
XOs in schoools in Madagascars.

We could find support through institutions as the CRP (Centre de
Ressources Pédagogiques) or the CRINFP (Centre Régional de l'Institut
National de Formation Pédagogique) or the AUF (Agence Universitaire de la
Francophonie), as Jean Joseph Aimé RANDRIAMAHENINA, from the ESSA in Tana,
pointed out.

Many actors are likely to give an answer and to offer solutions.

How should we address the question of the knowledge transfer?

Thank you for your comments!

Kind regards

Samy
