Ein Hardwareupdate bringt ein neues Innenleben für den XO. Die  
wichtigsten Änderungen:

* Prozessor: VIA C7-M, zwischen 1.5 W bei 400 MHz und 5 W bei 1 GHz  
(bisher AMD Geode 433 MHz)
* Chipsatz: VIA VX855 mit 3D- und HD-Video-Beschleunigung (bisher  
unbeschleunigt)
* Speicher: 1 GB DDR2 (bisher 256 MB DDR)
* Flash: 4 GB oder 8 GB (bisher 1 GB)
* WLAN: Marvell 88W8686 (bisher 88W8388)

Die Standard-Software soll weiterhin 8.2.x sein. Neue und alte XOs  
können also beliebig gemischt werden.
