near cnr Bourke St and Harbour Esplanade, Docklands

The next LUV Beginner's Workshop and Tutorial and the OLPC Corner will be on
the 20th of August. This month, Lev Lafayette will give an introduction to
Computer Hardware with Linux. The tutorial will start one hour into the
workshop, at 1pm.

At the LUV Beginner's workshop you can come along and work with Linux
enthusiasts to assist you in setting up your system the way you want. This
could include friendly advice on partitions, distributions, configurations,
networking and specific applications. Bring your laptop!


The Melbourne OLPC Club meetings are co-located with the Beginner's Workshops.
If you are interested in the OLPC (One Laptop Per Child) project, please come
and join in!

The Drupal Melbourne meetings are also co-located with the Beginner's
Workshops, taking place in the Long Room.

For those coming via Public Transport, the City Circle, number 48 (North
Balwyn - Docklands), number 86 (Bundoora - Docklands) and number 70 (Wattle
Park - Docklands) all stop on the corner of Bourke Street and Harbour
Esplanade. Southern Cross Station is just across the overpass over
Wurundjeri Road.
