[OLPC-AU] Sugar Mirrored on Dual Monitors

Some progress and perhaps I should make it clear what I'm trying to
accomplish. I sit with my laptop facing me and the user sits opposite with
the flatscreen and mouse - this is the way I work with the residents at a
nearby Aged Care Facility ( although some lie rather than sit ).

I repeat that the extended desktop is the default behaviour of the latest
versions of Fedora. My problem is that I don't know enough Linux or
X-windows to know how to override this behaviour at start up.

But what I've found is this - after the Terminal command

xrandr --output VGA1 --same-as LVDS1

everything is now fine EXCEPT that the left half of the Sugar Home Ring is
now mirrored instead of the whole ring straddling the two monitors.

But I can even cope with this cos ctrl-2 gives me the list instead of the
ring enabling me to start up any activity.

@forster at ozonline.com.au - I've tried all the possible config/boot scenarios.

@Ian Cunningham - thx for the VirtualBox idea - not quite what I'm after as
you can see.

@Sridhar Dhanapalan - tried backgrounding the xrandr command - didn't help.

Peter
