I just flashed two XO-1.5s with this build, and am typing this message
on one of them :)

The process went very smoothly. Flashing took about 10 minutes. The
included firmware update is automatically applied on the next boot
with the XO plugged in.

Both Sugar and GNOME work great. The Adobe Flash Player works with Youtube.

I'd appreciate if people could give this build go and report any bugs
as issues at dev.laptop.org.au.
