Yes, it worked for me when I tested it a few weeks ago.

I can't guess how it might have failed for you, but the instructions are
complex and there are many possible causes.

I'd be willing to have a look at the contents of your USB drive.
If you think that might help, capture a file listing and send it to me.

% cd /media/*
% find . | gzip - > usb-stick-files.txt

Otherwise, is there anything further you can say about the failure:

1.  were any of the activities installed?

2.  were any of the activities that were not installed found in the
filesystem afterward?

3.  is the laptop secure?  if not, was X game key used?
