Yes, like tony said we had problem with .mozilla and .macromedia stuffs. So it would be nice if "Browse" can be started with the flash profile that we have already customized. Other important things are pointed out by yourself.
Bryan,

Naturally, I am a little concerned with a development path which depends on Browse implementing features of Firefox as we recognize the need (as opposed to just running Firefox which has them already).

For Gears and Greasemonkey, we need the ability to add plugins. If that is not possible, then we need the current version. There must also be the ability to add a greasemonkey script.

I believe there is a problem with the Flash activities needing to write to .mozilla which must be writable with Rainbow. Gears creates and updates an sqllite database in .mozilla as well.

Hey guys,

The principal maintainer of the Browse activity wants to modify Browse
to accommodate E-Paath and offline moodle.

Please help me put together a definitive list of what features we need.
Pls also give me the most important lines of javascript we use to
display and manipulate E-Paath in the browser.

Here is the list of items I have so far:
* display embedded .swf file, don't show the annoying "Click X to
play" * Ability to open new tabs * Currently we launch individual lessons in a new full-screen
Firefox window * Support Google Gears, version #?
* Support Greasemonkey, version #?

This is a good opportunity for us. let's take advantage of it.
