Maybe the SVN version of fez w/ Solr fixes this issue

I would like to spend some time w/ Bernie and Sulochan today to see
about using git to track changes in e-pustakalaya

things done and results:

1. Added APC for php----------------works surprisingly great.
request/sec jumped from 3 to 30 on the page, which is great.

2. Optimized mysql (some of it)
The actual problem with mysql is that queries made by fez is just plain
bad...way too many queries with out indexing
Many thanks to Bernie for showing me how to add indexing.

3. Apache is working great. No problem with this...It also compresses
plain text/html pages now up to 20-70%

4. Changed java from sun to openjdk.......Berine says openjdk is much
better. It did boost performance a little bit.

I am still working on other optimization options specially for fez, to
improve the way it works....will have to setup a new
local server for this...and play with other things including changing to
the new svn version of fez and more.

If anyone is changing anything please let me know...also leave a comment
on the files/lines that have been changed...comment it out
rather than completely deleting it.

thanks
sulo
