I find one or more laptops set to Arabic when I go to Ecole Saint
Jacobs in Rwanda. I believe the kids are trying out things and
Arabic is the first locale. <br>

You can go to settings (wrench icon) where there is a drop-down list
of languages (in Arabic, of course). The list only shows the up
arrow (I suspect a bug in that the arrow got reversed, but not the
list). Anyway if you move down to click on the list, you get both
buttons. Move the list down and the languages are shown with a latin
alternative (e.g. (USA)). As I have told the teachers, move the list
down and pick any language. The odds are it won't be Arabic but a
language with a Latin alphabet. Then it is easy to go back to
