In addition, I've been playing around with harvesting translated
strings from upstream projects and placing them in the Terminology
folder (so they are offered as suggestions on the right-hand bar of
Pootle). Sugar uses a lot of simple strings that are present upstream
(edit / copy / paste/ Save, etc.), so this can possibly help
localizers more quickly enter certain matching strings by selecting
them from the righthand bar in Poolte with a single click, saving some
keystrokes. I would not automatically populate our PO files as the
upstream quality is unknown, but a native speaker exercising judgement
on a suggestion should be fine.

That sounds like a nice add-on!

I'll take a look for pre-translated Albanian strings that match ours
when I have a chance.

Cool, thanks:-)

Christoph

--
Christoph Derndorfer

editor, OLPC News [www.olpcnews.com]
