Thanks for providing the link to the example of parallel change display--I was not aware that existed in wiki. Perhaps a combination of the two could be helpful for people in terms of providing specific references as well as context, and some kind of simple guide could be created to help acclimate translators to the process of utilizing the comparative display in wikimedia -- ideally with the help of someone who is experienced in using the parallel display
