[Localization] Problems registering in dev.laptop.org/translate

I was trying to register to volunteer some translation but I get an
error (I start at the dev.laptop.org/translate and proceed to
"register")
The error after I fill the username, password etc.. and click on
"register Account" is
'ascii' codec can't decode byte 0xe6 in position 2: ordinal not in range(128)'

Premise: I am not a Linux user. Am I naive thinking I can do this with
my Mac OS system?
