[Localization] g1g1 2008 updates and media

Dear all,

Please take a look at the updated g1g1 details at
http://wiki.laptop.org/go/G1G1_2008  and correct anything that looks
out of place.

Translators : the page in full doesn't need to be translated, but the
first couple of paragraphs should be (I know there is a great deal of
excellent community media, for instance, not yet uploaded to our
Flickr stream!  The gallery on the [[community media]] page comes from
only a few countries).

Support gang : I'm not sure this page tells people explicitly enough
how they can join SG and other groups to help prepare for the
onslaught of attention on Nov 17 -- please suggest better wording and
links wherever appropriate.

I'm planning to blog about this later today and send an abbreviated
copy (and link to the wiki page) to all of the active OLPC lists and
related lists/blog owners, which I'm listing at [[OLPC:Outreach
gang]].

Finally, please add questions you have or have had to answer on the
[[G1G1 FAQ]] and [[XO Giving/International]] pages.  I wish I had
better answers about international G1G1 rollouts, since that is one of
the most common questions, but I don't yet.
