My personal suggestion would be to try to hook Pootle's to 
wherever the project is hosted as a whole. Having pieces of a 
project spread in multiple systems seems a bit like frankenstein 
in reverse... ;)

Jeje, that's a 'standard' confusion... Pootle does most of its 
reporting based on 'words' instead of 'strings' given that it's a 
more reasonable unit for estimating translator workload...
