[LB-XO-LiveCD] New XO-LiveCD Version 080902 (joyride 2365)

A new version of the XO-LiveCD is available.
You can download it from:

This release is based on the joyride build 2365.

Main features and changes since version 080812:

   * Language pack support. After choosing the keyboard/language
     settings in the boot-menu the corresponding language pack gets
     automatically installed. Languages supported by default:

         spanish, french, german and english

    * Since bugs related to the Xorg Server
      have been reported
      (jumping mouse pointer, Xorg eats up 99% of CPU,
      arrow key are not working) the LiveCD
      downgrades Xorg to version 1.3 which works
      reliable.

    * Activity version updates

    * it is strongly recommended to have at least 1GB
      of RAM. PC's with less than 1GB of RAM are
      not supported by this release!


This XO-LiveCD project targets the main goals:

   * Give children, students, teachers and parents
     the opportunity to participate and use the
     educational software on a common PC.

   * Demonstration of OLPC/Sugar software to non-developers, you can also
     start the sugar desktop on Windows, Linux or MacOS using a
     Virtual Machine.

   * For developers the CD provides an easy maintainable Live-System,
     which could be used to develop and test activities on the sugar desktop.
