[OLPC library] Scratch cartoons for physics and health education - New universal language?

My son would love Howtoons unfortunately the graphics are complex.
They take forever to download? Any ideas? Scratch is much faster.(www.scratch.mit.edu)

  Yes, there is a theory that science, technology, and mathematics are
pretty much the same thing for the younger kids (just something to
play with) but later these concepts are differenciated as kids mature,
making stuff based on physics could be an effective learning step.

  So, "Howtoons" http://www.howtoons.com/toons/ is another set of
interesting cartoons for making stuff.
