At the risk of sound like a crusty old curmudgeon....

One of the primary reason for project failure is the cost, feature,
product spiral, often called feature creep.

At this point, it seems more beneficial to focus on the desktop and
activities.  We can get those chapters done and done well.

Then, we can start work on a server, collaboration focused book sprint
in the future.  A co-located Fudcon/OLPCcon/SLcon/BookSprint in Boston
the first week of December seems very useful;)

I don't know if Adam Hyde or Anne would be available.  When we first
started talking about a collaborative effort between SL and FM on an
updated version of the guide, Anne though she could spend 1-3 hours a
week on the project;)

For anyone willing to listen, I can provide merits for such a co-located
event...after we finish the current event)
