July 23rd was the first day in India when a Chief Minister of a State and two Union Cabinet Ministers came to inaugurate OLPC in India.<br><br>The Chief Minister of Rajasthan inaugurated OLPC deployment at a school at Keekerwali, Shriganganagar District in Rajasthan. The laptops were donated by Satish Jha of OLPC India.<br><br>He was accompanied with the Govt of India's Rural Development Minister C P Joshi and Social Justice Minister Mukul Wasnik, bothe full Cabinet Ministers of Union of India.<br><br>It was also the day when Union Education Minister (known as HRD Minister) Kapil Sibal showcased his aspiration to have a $35 laptop by next year.
