We don't live in a world of "should haves". Instead of preaching OLPC, we need to do something about educating our children. OLPC is a response to the need of the poorer societies. But its leaders think differently are not learned enough to see the developments holistically. To bring them to the modern times is a challenge that requires much greater effort and capability than making OLPC possible.
