This month Mr Satish Jha joined the advisory board of India-Center Foundation that is sponsoring the India Japan Global Partnership Summit in Tokyo from Sept 5 to 7, 2011.
The India Japan Global Partnership Summit (IJGPS 2011) is aimed at establishing the framework for a $1000 Billion investment over the next ten years to develop ten other sectors.
Claude Smadja, former CEO of the World Economic Forum (sponsors of Davos Summit) has joined the Summit to support it achieve the world class quality.
For everyone interested in India's development and participating in the emerging framework - from the Indian diaspora to the Japanese diaspora to everyone with skills needed for the transformation of Indian economy IJGPS will be a great opportunity to take the next steps.

Yukio Hatoyama-Former Prime Minister
Former Prime Minister of Japan, Yukio Hatoyama, is also the leader of 泥emocratic Party of Japan . He is a strong supporter of India-Japan Global Partnership since its inception. He visited Assembly of Kashmir, India in 2002 as a mark of protest to condemn terrorist attacks in December 2001.
Shinzo Abe,Former Prime Minister
Shinzo Abe, the former Japanese Prime Minister is an avid supporter of India-Japan Global Partnership from the time of the then Japanese Prime Minister Yoshiro Mori. Later during his premiership tenure, Indo-Japan relationship scaled to great heights.
Satish Jha
Satish Jha is Chairman of OLPC India Foundation with a mandate to reach out to 250 million children who are growing up without access to quality education, learning and computing technologies. Satish has worked as a newspaper editor (Editor, Dinamaan, The Times Group and co-founder, Janasatta, The Indian Express Group), a global corporate executive and founded James Martin & Co and META Group in India. He is also a member of United Nations' GAID, Special Advisor to Kofi Annan Center and Co-Chairs the World IT Forum (WITFOR).
Yasutoshi Nishimura, Member House of Representatives
Yasutoshi Nishimura is an eminent Japanese politician belonging to Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), member of the House of Representative in the Diet (Japanese national legislature).
Yuichiro Tamaki, Member House of Representatives
Yuichiro Tamaki is a young and dynamic member of House of Representatives and represents the Democratic Party of Japan in the Diet. He is also Member, Special Committee on Anti-Piracy Measures, Prevention of International Terrorism, and Japan's Cooperation and Support . He is a strong supporter of Indo-Japan relations.

Shotaro Yachi
Shotaro Yachi, the former Special Envoy of the Government of Japan has served at various eminent positions in Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Japan. He has also served as vice foreign minister under three prime ministers--Junichiro Koizumi, Shinzo Abe and Yasuo Fukuda--between January 2005 and January 2008 and as a government representative on diplomacy under Taro Aso.
Haruo Shimada, Former Advisor to Prime Minister
Haruo Shimada is Professor of Economics at Keio University and one of the Japan's most active economists. He has extended his interest and expertise from labor economics to areas such as economic policy and international relations. Currently he holds the position of Independent Director of Millea Holdings Inc. and Director of Intec Inc.
K Roy Paul
K. Roy Paul joined the Indian Administrative Service in 1967. During his 37 years of service, he held a number of important and responsible executive positions in the Government of Bihar and the Government of India. He brought about revolutionary changes in the policy framework governing the civil aviation sector. He also served as member of Union Public Service Commission.

M V Rajasekharan
M.V. Rajasekharan is former Union Minister of State in the Ministry of Planning, Government Of India. He first became a member of the Lok Sabha from the State of Karnataka in 1967. Kan Suzuki, Member House of Councilors
