Currently power management is only included in the joyride (= test) builds.
But should be included in one of the next official releases.

The XO is designed to work with anything that has around 12V of power. So
the easiest thing should be to charge the XOs with a car battery and find
an alternative way (solar, wind, ...) to charge the car battery itself.
