Hi Marc,
If you got the XO from the G1G1 batch, then it probably shipped with
Build 650. The last working build I tested is 679. There have been
problems with some access points (my Linksys misbehaved as well) but
with the updates, its a lot better.
For updating see http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Olpc-update If you don't have
a uasble network connection, you will have to use a USB flash drive.
