[OLPC India] Best way to send XO to India

Hi,
I am involved in XO localization in Telugu.
I got  an XO through G1G1 program and plan to send to my friend in India,
who is also helping in localization.
Can anyone suggest, what is the best (cheapest) way to send XO from US to
India and especially what are the tax and customs implications.
