I heard from Loren W who had facilitated the meeting; his impression was they felt disappointed that OLPC wasn't currently looking into, say, providing XOs to clinics for their field clinicians at scale. They wanted to test out some interesting tools for diagnostics, which would be useful for children an teachers as well -- and could be used to gather data and bring it on a thumbdrive to a doctor when one goes in to a clinic or to see a healthworker... I don't think they quite got to the stage of considering this a useful extension to their current implementation concepts.

We were waiting for introductions or a contributors-program application from them; we should follow up again about the shared local contacts for health materials and on getting their developers machines to develop/test their tools.
