[Health] blood microscope

Hi List,
We are working on an automated digital microscope with smart blood collection cartridges via fingerprick and image analysis software to diagnose malaria vs. bacterial vs. viral infections. We need a computation platform and look at the XO (and later generations) with great interest.

I am new on the list and have a couple of questions:

Are there already other microscope add-ons developed?
How is the health application part of OLPC organized?
Are there any health-related projects deployed in the field  yet or coming up soon?
