I recommend the Open Source Health Software tracks at SCALE as a
starting point.

I have worked with the OpenVistA people, and have some ideas about
telemedicine, including contacts with a manufacturer of low-cost
systems. Globe.org.uk is interested in global mapping, and we can ask
whether they would be willing to take on health mapping along with
Engineers Without Borders and International Symposium on Digital
Earth. We should also see whether we can bring in Partners in Health
and WHO, among others.

Can't tell. I can't get to the subscriber list. I can log in to view
it, but I'm just dumped back at the same page, even though it says it
is http://lists.laptop.org/roster/health.

Arjun?
