Dear interns and SoC / summer project participants -- <br><br>This is a reminder to write a weekly update about your projects, and a few-line summary of important or interesting points that you'd like others to know about. <br>Dear mentors : please take a few minutes between now and Saturday to talk with your students to find out how they are doing and help them with the above; and record your own thoughts about the projects and where their roadmap or timeline is heading.<br>
Likewise write back with any insights or issues you have so far, so that we can make our summer program better.<br><br>Finally, we are planning a gathering and workshop for the end of August for all summer projects to show off what they have been doing, and to meet in person in Cambridge; more details on this to come next week. We are currently planning to hold this for 2 or 3 days between August 20 and 24 -- for all subscribed to these lists, let me know if you would be interested in attending, and whether this timeframe works for you.<br>
