You have to tell us what you know, what skills you have, and what
interests you, before we can give any detailed advice. Generally,
there are numerous projects listed in the Wiki in the core Sugar
modules (Glucose) and Activities (Fructose). You can get to the
information on Sugar projects and the development process from the
Sugar page in the Wiki. You will also want to join the Devel mailing
list, Trac, and the developer IRC channels. Or you might be interested
in the School Server or in building software capabilities into
textbooks, perhaps.
