Is anybody on this list in the Los Angeles area willing to do a demo
for these fine people? I met them at SoCalLinuxExpo (SCALE) on Sunday.
There are numerous other groups in the area that would like demos, and
we mean to get together on getting XOs into schools, museums,
libraries, and the like.

Hi, Ed, this is Solomon. We met at the LAMPSIG booth and you
suggested possibly demonstrating the OLPC for a LAMPSIG meeting?

I'm definitely interested. There are a lot of curious looking
features I'm sure our members have wondered about for a long time,
such as the triple-wide touchpad at the base of the keyboard and the
infamous hand-crank for when you're running low on power.

When do you think you might be in town? Our meetings occur on the 3rd
Thursday of every month, if that helps.
