Agreed -- btw, at OLPC France, we plan to let some of our volunteer
developers to take part of teacher training sessions.  This training 
will surely be done by those who train teachers for La main à la pâte
("hands on" pedagogy for science education.)

I know La main à la pâte is now in many countries, maybe grassroots
organizations could plan teacher training sessions for their developers
as well!

In any case, we'll report whether it seems to be useful (or not).
