hi folks - just learned about and ordered a get-one-give-one computer,
but it will arrive too late for me to evaluate for local kids-in-need
(i live in a remote arizona town). i'd love to, after i get the one,
bring it to an organized charity in town and see if they would be
willing to "give one get one" to benefit both local needy kids (at
$400/computer) and 3rd world country kids (the free "give" one).

is there any chance registered charities would be able to do the
give-one-get-one program after 12/31/07? perhaps with a minimum number
of computers? i expect they could raise the money for a $400 computer
per kid, which would translate to an equivalent amount of free
computers to third-world country kids.

any info appreciated!
