[Etoys] etoys image freezing?

ok .... pwd returns

/Users/mark/Desktop


..... but i think now that cause of the freeze, at least as is happening 
on my machine, is related to sound is related to sound issues. testing 
with only simple code to play back some sound files causes 
etoys-dev.image to freeze. the same code with the same sound files on a 
3.9 from www.squeak.org works perfectly.
