Hi, Karl,

The only thing that changed was the wording of a menu item:  the menu  
item that formerly said "grouped" now says "parentheses".   The  
functionality is otherwise unchanged:  you can either specify a  
function (e.g. cos or abs) to apply to whatever appears within the  
parentheses, or you can simply use the parentheses as a grouping  
mechanism.

As before, if you want to switch from plain parentheses to a "real"  
function, click on the tile to the left of the left-parenthesis to get  
the function-choice pop-up, or cycle among the choices using the green  
arrows.

Does anyone perhaps have a suggestion for better wording for the item  
in question?  Perhaps "parentheses only".  Or "just parentheses"?  Or  
"no function"?  Or "identity function"?  As you can see, every idea  
here seems to have its downside!
