 In build 581 on B4, alt-C takes almost 40 seconds to exit etoys.

 Steps to repeat: Start etoys.  Wait for the car to start moving.  Press
 alt-C.  Toolbar goes away, and comes back a few seconds later.  Wait about
 38 seconds(total).  Etoys exits.
