Sigh. I read somewhere that putting links into <...> would help  
against breaking them in email. Seems that was wrong. trying again:

Just noticed Eben put up some designs for the Write activity:

It uses a tabbed toolbar, so if we need many items we could adopt
this (not that I think we would). Here is the toolbar design separated:
