 The "obtrudes" etoy slot ("tests" category) always reports "false" while
 an object is being carried "in the hand", whereas it ought to report a
 true or false value with reference to the playfield (possible the world)
 the object was in when it was picked up by the hand -- if any part of the
 object lies beyond the boundary of that playfield, it should report
 "true".
