 Replying to [ticket:4943 bert]:
 > When dragging out a new Text object, then deleting all its characters,
 it switches to an unreadably tiny font size. Subsequent typing keeps that
 size.

 Here is a fix that set the default font size correctly, but the text box
 still shrinks to a tiny square when all characters are deleted.
