Appears to be a bug. The ?sync-ec is coded to happen automatically<br>
when you add the CP tag. Perhaps a delay is needed.<br>

Background information: the XO-1.75 and XO-4 have two SPI FLASH chips,<br>
one for the embedded controller (EC) and one for the system. The<br>
setting of the CP tag has to be stored in both chips, one by one.<br>
