After a manual rmmod/modprobe -r, which seems to successfully unload the driver, then inserting the USB device, the firmware provided for the USB module still doesn't load. lsusb sees it, dmesg see it, but doesn't kickstart like ti does on my F17 desktops. On another machine, the blacklist worked to block the B43 broadcom on a lenovo netbook with F17 from loading. I loaded the same firmware onto the XO that runs this USB/Atheros on that F17 box. </div>
<div><br></div><div>I have pretty much the same symptoms with my little Bluetooth dongle, and my DisplayLink devices. As I said, this is gadget stuff, not mission-critical. Definitely not a priority, probably I'll harass someone in San Fran in October about it. :-)</div>
