Folks, on XO 1 with new 870 build :  <br><br>1) At boot, once the animation has completed its little circle, the screen goes black for about 17 seconds before the favourite wheel comes up. Does this on multiple XO's.  Does not happen on os23.<br>
<br>2) In general, boot takes about twice as long on 870 than on os23, again on multiple XO's compared.<br><br>3) Activities take longer to launch, flashing icon stays almost twice as long on the screen before the screen comes up than it did on os23 for some.<br>
<br>Could this all be due to the file system switch, or has something else happened?  <br><br>No such issues on the XO 1.5 870.  <br><br>Cheers<br><br>KG<br><br>PS did notice that gparted works on the 1.5 but coughs errors on the 1.0, but it did this on os23 as well, and it isn't a big deal for me, as I can partition the external cards other ways.  But if someone is expecting it to create swap cards on the XO 1.0, no such luck.<br>
<br>PPS: On the other hand, there seems to be much more free space on the 1.0 after an 870 install than an os32 install<br><br><br>
