Terry found that channel 1 was the most afflicted.  I suspect, but I
haven't checked, that the idle mesh only uses channel 1, but it also
use whatever channel the laptop is associated with.

How do you see APs?  We know you cannot trust scan results on an XO-1,
therefore you cannot trust the Sugar network neighbourhood view.

If the mesh beacons follow the channel the laptop is associated with,
then other APs on channel 11 might not be seen.

My only trusted tool for this at the moment is a network interface in
monitor mode, and counting the probe responses.
