- add new .os command for identifying installed build; it displays the
  file /boot/olpc_build without having to start the operating system,
  useful for managing test laptops,

  (XO-1 and XO-1.5 will get this command in future releases).

- remove support for USB serial adapter keyboard input, in order to
  avoid boot failure if a USB serial adapter or PL2303 based USB GPS
  is attached; previously the boot may hang (#11871) or repeating
  keyboard interrupt messages may appear (#11887),

  (XO-1 and XO-1.5 already ignore such devices)
