What is the difference between 'buddy-joined' and 'buddy-joined-activity' signals, with-respect-to activity-collaboration ?

I'm getting into the telepathy code also.

I believe that to mean other XO's joining the channel for the NV
(Neighbourhood View)

I believe that to be a shared activities has been added to NV by another
